



RON PICKARSKI, CEC (formerly
Brother Ron) is President and Executive Chef/Consultant for Eco-Cuisine,
Inc. He is the first professional vegetarian chef to be certified as an
Executive Chef by the American Culinary Federation. As a Chef, Ron's specialty
is gourmet vegetarian cuisine prepared with plant-based foods. As a Food
Technologist, his specialty is research and development of all-natural,
low and reduced fat food products that are nutrient dense. Currently available
Eco-Cuisine Food Products include Seitan
Quick Mix and a Bakery Dry Mix Product Line which is vegan and certified
kosher. Ron is also the Founder/Director of the American Natural Foods
Team which competes at the quadrennial International Culinary Olympics
in Germany. Between 1980 and 1996 he won seven medals (gold, silver, and
bronze) with plant-based foods and was the first chef in the history of
that prestigious event to do so. Ron has made numerous television appearances,
produced two cookbooks and a video, and
written many articles for national periodicals. He has been featured in
Vegetarian Times, Art Culinaire, The National Culinary Review, USA Today
Weekend, Boston Globe, Miami Herald, Chicago Sun Times, Los Angeles Times,
